Dr. Anoop Thomas
After completing my master's degree (M.Sc. in Chemistry) from St. Thomas’ college Thrissur, I joined the group of Prof. K. George Thomas (IISER-Thiruvananthapuram) for my doctoral studies and defended my thesis in 2015. In 2012, I received the Indo-Swiss joint research fellowship and worked on the characterization of mixed-ligand metal nanoparticles under Prof. Francesco Stellacci, EPFL Switzerland.
I joined the group of Prof. Thomas Ebbesen (Kavli Laureate 2014), University of Strasbourg, France as a postdoctoral researcher in 2015. Experiments in Strasbourg led to the first demonstration of modified chemical reactivity, chemoselectivity, superconductivity and enhanced ferromagnetism under vibrational strong coupling. Other than strong coupling, I was associated with Dr. Cyriaque Genet (CNRS director of research, University of Strasbourg), to develop the Mueller polarimetry based tool to study chiroptical features of hierarchical supramolecular assembly.

Hi, I am Subha. I am from Kamarhati, near Kolkata, West Bengal. I completed the Integrated Bachelor's and Master's (BS-MS) program at IISER-Bhopal with a major in chemistry (2014-2019). I joined IISc Bengaluru in February 2021. I work on the electronic and vibrational strong coupling of organic molecules in optical cavities. I love to watch anime, sci-fi movies, and sports.

Kavya S Mony

I am Kavya and I am a native of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I did my Bachelors in Chemistry from MG College, Thiruvananthapuram and Masters from University of Kerala, Kariavattom and passed with a Gold Medal. I joined at IISc in August 2021 and I work on vibrational strong coupling. I enjoy reading, listening to music and singing.

I am Indrajit Dutta. I did my BSc (Chemistry) from Bankura Sammilani College, West Bengal, and MSc (Chemistry) from IIT ISM Dhanbad in 2021. I joined as a PhD student at IISc Bengaluru in January 2022. I like to play cricket and football.

I worked as a guest lecturer in the Dept.of Physics, St.Dominic’s College, Kanjirapally and as an Asst.Professor in the Dept.of Basic Science & Humanities, Mangalam College of Engineering, Kottayam.
